Dr. James J. Elist is a urologist, surgeon, medical innovator, and author whose career has spanned more than four decades.
Throughout his professional life, medicine taught him to rely on training, evidence, and careful judgment. His personal experiences taught him something else: some of the most meaningful moments in life cannot be understood through knowledge alone.
